From a Reader Friday - A Colorful Day - What Vera Bradley Gives Away!
Thank you to OhMyVera reader Christy for sending in a photo of what her and two girlfriends were given at A Colorful Day in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago! Lots of great giveaways!
Looks like a lot of fun stuff! I definitely need to make it to one of these someday!
How much do you have to spend to get the free stuff though....
ReplyDelete$99 and it included delllllicious breakfast and lunch. (And then of course hotel stay if you are coming from out of the area. We stayed 1 night in the host hotel with a 3.5 hour drive.) Oh plus you have additional opportunities to get giveaways and gift cards during the discussions/game. I won a 60 gift card thanks to my (limited) Vera knowledge.
ReplyDeleteIt was sooo well worth it. My mom and I had a great time. I wish I could find a way to get us to Orlando in October for the next one.
Alison - do you ever trade your Vera stuff or do you know any websites for trading. I used to belong to a group on Yahoo, but they're not as active any longer.
ReplyDeleteDenise, Sounds like a great deal and fun time:)
ReplyDeleteI was there with my Mom too and we stayed 2 nights, saw her cousin she hasn't seen in years and hauled away a duffel bag (SIH that i brought with) full of goodies. I too won a gift card in a game... my buzzer seemed to stick! Had a blast, spent time with my Mom and well work the hotel, entrance fee, and airfare. You only live once!
ReplyDeleteSo what do you do when you have 2 Vera bags that are the same print? I usually go by seasons, but this print "viva la vera" is very versatile. I already had the criss cross bowler (which I LOVE), then my husband got me the on the go, which I thought was so sweet.
ReplyDeleteNow I don't know which one to carry when... What would you do??
The Criss Cross bowler is a bit bigger, so I might use that one if I was going to need to pack some major punch for a long day of shopping or something. The OTG is PERFECT for everyday use, in my opinion. I have several different bags in the same patterns and interchange them as needs arise. Example: I LOVE my Squared Away bag as a small diaper bag. Since I have a toddler and a preschooler now, it works perfectly. I use my All-in-One wristlet for quick trips to pick my daughter up from dance class or school...and also love it for garage saling! :-)
DeleteOh, wow...I have several bags in the same pattern...just different sizes for different needs/uses. I don't have any problems with that:) I feel lucky!
ReplyDeleteMan, my mom and I wanted to go to this SOOOO bad! Unfortunately (or fortunately) my daughter hasn't weaned yet, and so I didn't want to leave her for a few days! I am DEFINITELY going as soon as I can!!!
