At the end of January Vera Bradley had an in store promotion and if you spent $75 or more you could get a Small Duffel for free! It was too good to pass up, but I wasn't able to make it to the store, so I called and ordered it from a store. They charge $8 for shipping, but when you are getting a $69 bag for free made it totally worth it!
I had been wanting a Little Hipster, so decided now would be a great time to get one. I was debating between Go Wild or Jazzy Blooms. Obviously I picked Go Wild! I also picked up a Go Wild Fringe Scarf and Hair Pins along with Correspondence in Jazzy Blooms. I picked English Rose for my Small Duffel! I am loving English Rose more and more!
The Little Hipster is a little smaller than the regular Hipster which I really like to use, but bigger than the Mini Hipster that I always found too small. I love this front pocket that has a built in wallet, freeing up space in the rest of the bag.
The main compartment has a zipper pocket.
The back has a slip in pocket that has a magnetic closure. I think that it will be great for my phone so that I can get to it quickly if I need it.

Now I have a full duffel set! XL Duffel in Pink Pansy, Large Duffel in Versailles and Small Duffel in English Rose!
XL holds three stacks of clothing, Large holds two stacks of clothing and the Small does seems like it holds very much. Maybe a pair of shoes and a change of clothing.
They all have the slip in pocket on one end.
Awesome post! Versailles is my all-time favorite winter pattern because it goes with virtually everything in my wardrobe. I only have a few things in that pattern and wish VB would replicate those colors in a new pattern.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your free duffel. I, too now have the three duffel set. In January we were taking a road trip and I was sick of all my things not fitting in the large duffel. I phoned a local retailer and they had a number of XL duffels 50%. I am in love with that thing! It is a large bag, but I am 5'9 and can pull it off.
