Vera Bradley Easy Tote in Pink Elephants

Back in November I purchased an Easy Tote in Pink Elephants and then I tucked it away and kind of forgot about it.  Thanksgiving through New Years was so busy, I didn't get a chance to use my new bag.  I am really glad that I picked up this tote.  Most of the Pink Elephants items are sold out and I have just seen a couple of things that are left on QVC in that color.  I also assumed that the Easy Tote would be something they would make in more colors, but it only came in Pink Elephants. 

 

The tote has leather or faux leather straps (I guess I need to double check the tag), as well as a leather bottom and a leather Vera Bradley tag towards the bottom of the front of the tote.  Inside there are three slip in pockets.  There is magnet closure.

Vera Bradley Disney Mickey Mouse Print - Flower Shower

I have a preview of one of the upcoming Vera Bradley Disney prints!  One of the new prints will be Flower Shower (from the upcoming Summer collection) with Mickey Mouse worked into the print.  No word yet on what the pattern with Mickey will be named, but I will update this when I find out!

What a fun print! I can't wait to see it in person!

 

There will also be Clementine and Midnight Blues inspired Disney prints, but I don't have photos yet.

Retiring Tomorrow: Cocoa Moss, Lilli Bell, Lola & Sun Valley

Tomorrow (February 14) Vera Bradley will be retiring Cocoa Moss, Lilli Bell, Lola and Sun Valley!  They will be 30% off, but you probably won't have to wait long for an additional markdown.

Tri Delta Bid Day Shirts

I am an advisor at one of the local colleges for Delta Delta Delta the sorority I was in during college.  They have their big formal recruitment week in January and they had really cute Vera Bradley themed shirts!  The Delta Delta Delta is in the same font as the Vera Bradley signature and says be colorful underneath.   They did a combo of flowers and a trident on back, which dont exactly go together, but I love it anyways!

Vera Bradley's Website Can't Handle a Large Sale

Today for four hours only, Vera Bradley has 75% off Tea Garden.  What an amazing deal!  Too bad their website can't seem to mange inventory well enough during a sale.

 

I was able to successfully add 3 Tea Garden Medium Cosmetics to my shopping cart and proceeded to check out.  I kept getting an error at check out, but it wouldn't tell me what the error was.  It kept saying see section in red, but nothing was red.  So I went back a page and saw that while I was putting in my credit card number to check out, the item sold out!

 

Most online shopping sites will at least hold the item for you while you are completing check out.  I am really disappointed.

 

 

I was able to add them to my cart and make it to the last step of check out:

When it wouldn't let me check out I went back a screen to this one and saw that it sold out while I was checking out:

  But when I went back to the Medium Cosmetic, it is still listed as in stock.  So none of their pages match.  I decided to call customer service to confirm if the item was sold and she said it was.  She also pointed out that on the check out screen it says this: These items are not reserved until you complete checkout. Noted. I guess next time I will have to move quicker, but gees, once I am logged in as me and I am filling out all the required fields you think that I wouldn't have something taken from my cart.
